About

Dr.M.Srinivasa Rao is working as a Scientist in Biology Division of CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, India. He obtained Master’s Degree in Biotechnology from Bharathidasan University and PhD in Zoology from Osmania University. He has a breadth of research experience in epidemiology vector-borne diseases, disease modelling and spatiotemporal mapping studies. He is also working on the role of climatic factors on the transmission of vector-borne diseases like malaria, Japanese encephalitis and dengue. Besides these, mosquito bio-efficacy studies and antimicrobial activity studies are also carried against various natural and synthetic compounds.
