Please read this section carefully before proceeding further:

   
The Last date for Online submission has been extended to March 29, 2010. All online applications submitted online by March 29, 2010 will only be accepted.
   

1. The Online application submission is a simple 2 fold process. You need to first register with IICT with a username and password of your choice. After a while, you'll receive an email from IICT giving your Username and Password. (Please Note: This mail may end up in your spam/bulk folder. Please check up those folders too if you didn't find it in your Inbox). This mail is purely informative. You can login and start applying, even if you haven't received any mail from IICT

 

2. After registering your account, you can now Login. Click on the Login button and key-in the username and password which you chose. You can now start applying. All the posts will be displayed and by clicking on the button "Apply" you will be taken to the data-entry modules. We have segregated or divided these into various categories like "Personal Details", "Payment" (if applicable), "Academics", "Professional Experience", "Publications", "Others" and "PreviewData". You can click on the links to move between these pages. Once you start filling-in the forms and after finishing a form, YOU MUST CLICK ON THE SUBMIT button, which is at the bottom of the page, to submit your details to the server. If you don't and click on the next link, you data will not be saved. If you choose to finish just a couple of forms and logout, the next time you login, you will find those details intact. You could continue this process until you finish all the forms.

 

3. Certain columns in the links will require you to add rows. This feature may NOT BE available in browsers such as Firefox. Therefore, we request you to use INTERNET EXPLORER 6.0 and higher version for keying-in your data.

 

4. At times, during the process of form submission, after you click submit, the system may throw-up pop-up alerts wanting you to enter data in certain places (if you've missed it out). The system would take you straight to that place/textbox where your entry is needed. Just select/enter data in that place and click Submit to move on.

 

4. Finally, you could click on the "PreviewData" link. All the data which you've entered will be displayed ON A SINGLE PAGE. This feature will enable you to check if you've made any mistakes in your data-entry. You can click on the corresponding UPDATE button which appears after a particular segment ends. By clicking on the UPDATE button, the system will take you to that particular Data-entry segment. You can make your changes and finally CLICK SUBMIT once again to save your details. PLEASE NOTE: The details in the PREVEWDATA link is a consolidation of all the information you've entered and NOT YOUR FINAL REPORT. PLEASE DO NOT take a printout of the PreviewData page and send. YOU NEED TO CLICK ON THE "GENERATE MY FINAL REPORT" button at the bottom of the page. If you have missed out on entering any details, the system will prompt you and not generate your report until you complete all the necessary fields. Your final report will CONTAIN your Online Registration ID. THIS REPORT SHOULD BE SENT TO IICT, ALONG WITH PASSPORT SIZE PHOTOGRAPHS, DD (IF APPLICABLE), CERTIFICATES (as specified in the advertisement), NECESSARY ENCLOSURES and YOUR SIGNATURE.

 

5. Each textbox has a certain permissible limit for the number of characters. If you, per chance, have exceeded the maximum permissible size of text, you'll find that your data is truncated or reduced to a certain extent in the PreviewData page. In this scenario, we request you to kindly alter/rephrase your text so that it conveys the right meaning and doesn't get reduced in the Preview or report.

 

IMPORTANT:

Before you generate your final report, please satisfy yourself fully about the accuracy of the data you've entered, because after your report is generated, there will be NO SCOPE for any further edits or updates. Also, if you wish to apply for more post than one, you can start applying only after you generate your report for one particular post. Then, you'll have to enter just the DD details (if applicable) and the rest of the data is automatically filled-in by the computer for you. (For every post you apply, you must enclose a separate DD/Cashier's check) This way, you save time and effort and don't have to fill-in all the information all over again while applying for multiple posts.
