The development of Oral delivery of Insulin and Oral Delivery of
Heptatis-B vaccine was achieved by IICT in collaboration with M/s.Transgene
Biotek Ltd., Hyderabad. The US Patent no.6482413 dta.19/11/2002 has been
jointly granted for this technology. This new invention is a boon to the
diabetic population showing the reduction of blood glucose levels
comparable to that of the injectable insulin. Similarly the Oral
Delivery of Hepatatis-B vaccine through oral route.
